One of the best ever made was BMW’s S54 Inline 6 that was in the E46 M3, E37 Z3M, and the E85/86 Z4M. 3.2L iron block that revved to 8000 rpm and made 333hp all without the aid of forced induction. Oh, and peak power was at 7900rpm, so you were rewarded for taking it all the way to redline. It was one of the sweetest

Raph, why don’t you quit your job? It is obvious to a casual observer that you actually hate cars.
2nd gear: Highways are where we drive cars. We are car enthusiasts. We like better roads that don’t beat the shit out of our cars.
4th gear: If you have a problem with raking in huge chunks of cash from ICE vehicles, then

One (or both) of these.  They are about the same price, and about the same size. Aside from the Jeep-iness, are either of them objectively better or more appealing than any of the other dozens of CUVs in the same class?

Long Live the 4th Gen

As a former fleet-side person, ME! I had two alongside three full-sized transits. It is really the quasi-taxi/utility function. Even the smallest regular transit was too big and I would rather have a Transit Connect over a Dodge Caravan. That is why they have them to fight the leftover caravan fleet market.

Crossovers.

The answer is still China.

Fleet sales, my fellow internet commenter, fleet sales.

Does all of Mitsubishi count?

I actually like the Avalon. One of our friends has the prior generation, and it certainly gives a more luxurious vibe than its badge would suggest - if I had taken a job with a longer commute, a CPO Avalon Hybrid would have been a great option. I actually also like the more distinctive look of the current generation

The Avalon is a great, overlooked car.

“Crack pipe, I used to have one, personally didn’t like it.

Erik, it was a racing incident, pure and simple. Neither driver was about to yield the race to the other right then. Both drivers were going for the same thing and hoping that the other would bail out.

I’m not normally one to knock the writers of this site, I have stupid opinions too, but Eric consistently writes questionable content. It’s getting to the point where I’m going to stop clicking on his articles.

How ever much shade Erik wants to throw on this accomplishment, Virgin Galactic’s ship performed exactly as they planned and expected. In no way did it not achieve what they set out to do yesterday.

The government isn’t forking out the big bucks for Space Tourism, they’re forking out the big bucks for satellite delivery and trips to the ISS. If anything moving the space transport business to the private sector has dramatically reduced cargo delivery costs for the government.

Why the hate? Someone’s gotta fork over the big bucks if our governments won’t. Let the Bazillionare Space Race commence, and godspeed, I say. We’ll get some actual technological advancements that will further mankind’s journey into the cosmos, while also having a chance to witness some one-percenter explode on

Wonderful car, but adding a performance package to a base car makes it not base. Heck, not even the regular 330i is a base car since BMW sold the 325i during the same time frame.
