I think Oldsmobile could’ve done really cool things with electrification. People forget how cool their designs were in the 50's & 60's, before the cars were just an awkward blend of Saturn and Buick’s styling.

This is probably the best driving BMW 5-series since the e39....and I owned an e39 m5 and e61 535 wagon. I give BMW credit for making a seriously good driving executive sedan.
The giant maw lower blacked out intake was less odd in the previous pre-refresh car. Grille-size being bigger = worse aside; I think this is a decent update to a car I’m not into.

It remains a engineering competition: You have to be a better engineer to win when you have cost constraints. It’s far easier for a RB/Merc/Ferrari engineer to defeat 7 other teams because they simply have more money, more testing resources, etc.
