Classic BMW fan’s aren’t annoyed with a 4 cylinder (they prefer I6's though...) they are mad about it being FWD.  FWD is no where near as fun to drive as RWD.  I would gladly have less interior space for RWD over FWD.  would you rather rip around a backroad understeering in a more powerfull numb steering modern BMW…

ah, the GT is essentially a Lemans car you can drive on the street, the C8 is a mid engine vette.  Not sure why you can’t see the difference.
