Yes. And it's not even the silliest thing that happens in that movie.
Yes. And it's not even the silliest thing that happens in that movie.
Though not relevant to the story at all, The Wicker Man has to "bee" the one of the best worst movies of all time.
You're really pollen out all the stops this time, $kay!
This:
No I understood your main point. But still, there are people who take new cars off road. I don't know how many people do, but they exist.
Aaron, per your last paragraph, I just wanted to let Chrysler know I opened a museum* and would be happy to take these cars off their hands and save them further bad PR at the hands of enthusiasts.
I understand your point, but you are applying what you have noticed to the entire spectrum of off-roading. Dunes aren't trails or rock gardens, either, so it's just one particular type of four wheeling being used to frame all kinds of four wheeling.
That may be, but I sure as shit wouldn't want to be in NYC jail for two months.
Man, WTF order am I supposed to read that note in? It's like a goddamn choose your own adventure with arrows and shit and writing around the logos and disclaimer text.
I think you're sort of guilty of the same thing - you're implying that if it has a Jeep badge that it must be capable of reaching the Everest summit, but the Renegade can't do that yet people are acting like it will.
Exactly. Loving these "Tacoma/4Runner/Wrangler/FJ/Xterra/Tahoe(!)" IS TEH BETTAR!" arguments. The Renegade is in no way a replacement or even competitor for any of those. They don't play in the same space. But all the Internet Offroad Tough Guys show up to make the same dumb comparisons. "LOL lookit this Red Rider…
Jeep has no plans to bring a diesel Renegade to the US
Yeah you are right. The trail rated badge is mostly a few hundred bucks in skidplates and other accessories but no indication of ability.
If it does in fact get a Trail Rated badge, that means it was able to successfully complete the Rubicon Trail, doesn't it?
The Wrangler is not really huge by any stretch, especially the 2-door versions. But it's a lot heavier than most other stuff of approximate size.
No pricing was released, but when the Patriot was announced, did you think it would have pricing parity with the Wrangler? The Renegade will be in a completely different vehicle class from the YJ. It's a subcompact vehicle and will have a MSRP relative to a subcompact.
"Cute Ute" dates back to the launch of the RAV4 and CR-V, possibly before that. It's an abbreviation of "Utility" in place of the full "SUV" in order to rhyme with "Cute"
It never ends well, anyway. Usually your original rebuttal just spawns an endless maze of replies from other angry people saying the same things. It's exhausting.
Holy crap, can you actually buy a Frontier that looks like this, and also why would anybody do that?
The Jeep traditionalists drive me insane sometimes. BAWWW THEY SHOULDA JUST BUILT THE XJ FOREVER AND NEVER CHANGED IT, THEN WE'D BE FINE.
