Some people will not be satisfied until every vehicle in Jeep's lineup is actually a CJ Wrangler being sold under a variety of different names.

I suppose it is way, way, waaaaaay too much to hope for a small diesel in this for the US market? For all the other compromises they'll be forced to make to build this on a small car platform, I would be willing to overlook a whole lot of them if you could order one with a small turbodiesel.
Can't speak for shitty suspension setups, but I know drums are popular on economy cars because they allow for easier/cheaper integration of the parking brake. Or at least that used to be true.
Ah, I didn't realize that was Tim Burton. Without reading any of the story text, it looked like the new Lexus designer was a cleaned-up hobo standing next to a Japanese executive.
I know. It also makes clear an additional benefit of ownership for when I try to justify such a thing to my wife and family: "it's so easy to wash, you guys."
This for sure. The fact that they did this SPECIFICALLY to troll photographers at the Ring is amazing.
I think so, but it's only in those two cars right now (I think). They did all of that to woo cheapskate millennials, the target group for the Spark/Sonic.
5.ORLY?
Fuelshark - 15% of the time, it makes more MPGs every time.
But the lack of updates aren't because Ford like, forgot they sell this car...they decided not to invest more money in it. The lifecycle changes are built into the vehicle budget long before they happen. They don't just build a car and then randomly decide "oh yeah I guess we need to fix up the old Expedition this…
But what is wrong with that? They are not required to offer a vehicle in this segment, nor does constant updating of product guarantee success. I'll take your word for it that Expedition sales have fallen 80% over the last decade, but this is not completely attributable to limited vehicle changes. Did overall sales of…
GM is and has been more successful in this segment, which is something everybody knows. Ford's wisely decided to limp home. Are you suggesting they should be pouring millions of dollars into the fullsize BOF SUV hole they dug years ago as a point of pride or so that people on the internet can continue to ridicule the…
That's kind of the point, though. There is a small market for this kind of vehicle, nowhere near big enough to justify a new platform or even new sheetmetal, as we see here.
I have no beef with what the Corolla is, but I think it quietly sends the message that you don't need to expect more for your money.
This thread brings up some good points: http://jalopnik.com/neutral-in-201…
Wow, you should have lead with the screenshot of that dude's website instead. I thought he just bought the domain and was waiting for a payday, but this is even worse.
The people who do that to their image results are assholes
Since you didn't specify production cars
Haha yeah pretty much.
At this point, that's a pretty acceptable way to find the answer.
