Are you saying that offering fullsize SUVs alongside wagons, rather than crossovers alongside wagons, will make more people opt for the wagon body style because it fits their needs better than the fullsize SUV? That's interesting. Never thought of it that way! #cotd

Okay, so SUVs sell. I hope the big profits from these will make VW add more features to the barren US/Canada-spec Golfs and more features and way better quality materials to Jettas, and possibly expand their lineup further (Polo? Amarok? Scirocco? Sharon?). I also want to see Bluemotion technology added to nearly all

This

*Unless they call it an "SUV", in which case it'll sell like bananas!

SUVs would be my 1st priority.

It's a Euro model.

This is why I love VW products. If only we'd get more stuff here in 'Murica.

Man, just looking at that fresh new exterior I was expecting to see the same 1.4 turbo as in the Dodge Dart, but now I'm a bit underwhelmed.

Looks like a fun car for the northern winters IMO, along with the Merc GLA.

In the USA, this is notable. In Europe, no one would blink twice if someone famous drove a manual GTI.

It would be hilarious if he had to send it back and be forced to wait 8 more months if the NHTSA suddenly claimed the month of manufacture matters.

I made a post about this on oppo before:

I really hope the regulations are reconciled in the US-EU free trade deal. American politicians seem to be dodging the issue while the European ones keep pressing for it.

I would love to see this street parked and daily driven (perhaps not winters) in a big city over here.

At least Oregon and Washington don't salt their roads... they don't have to worry about rust like the rest of us Northerners. But they do have to worry more about accidents in the snow.

Fiat just bought Chrysler with fiat money lol.

Does this mean we will get more Fiat models in America?

Dubai already is thin on oil. When they HAD oil, they were smart enough to invest big time in stocks/companies.

THIS is a big part of me not wanting to buy a used car.
