My personal policy: When in doubt*, tell the truth. You end up having to tell more lies to cover the first lie and it get super complicated. If/when you are found out, you lose all credibility, so there is no winning outcome.

I already took my winter feeders down and won’t put up my summer bird bath or hummingbird feeders. The last couple of years both were taken over by/attracted hornets, and I sure don’t want them around.
