Yea, it always irritates me when auto journalists complain about a vehicle not doing something it was never designed to do.

8700 lb towing capacity automatically means “not a minivan”.
I don’t get what’s so bad about it. Roomy, comfy, fast (for an SUV) and not badly priced when you think about the engine and trans. The 8 speed that comes in R/T and SRT FCA cars is spectacular.
I don’t get why you guys like to call the Durango a mini-van when it’s clearly not. Its probably the best SUV being offered right now, especially for what you get for the money (Not talking about SRT specifically).
XT4, Terrain, Equinox
Good. I would never, ever forgive GM if they axed the CT6. It’s the stately, full-size, long wheelbase, RWD-based luxury sedan I’ve been waiting 15+ years for them to build, and now that it’s finally on the market, I can’t imagine they’d kill it after, what, two years? The thing is gorgeous, and has some serious…
Tell me, how does a softer sprung midsize FWD Regal step on the toes of a compact RWD pure driver’s car like the ATS?
No, this doesn’t go up against the BMM 3 at all. First, it’s bigger, second, it’s FWD/AWD.
The Buick Regal GS goes up against the Audi A5 fastback sedan.
They are premium, whatever your biases are aside, just because you don’t like Cadillac or have some sort of standing bias against the brand doesn’t change the fact that it is premium carmaker........
I imagine the base ATS may still handle better, plus it has a coupe option, so there is that at least.
They’ve been premium for about 100 years though......or what were they before, economy cars? mining dump trucks?
I don’t expect this thing will be eating the M3's lunch money or anything, but then again that’s what Cadillac is for.
Because a lot of people will still care more about the “premium” status of a Cadillac vs the “lesser” Buick.
This article should just read
“worse gas mileage”
The last 2 gens looked excellent though... those were my favorite :/

The Rusty Cactus would be a great saloon name.
LOL rusty cactus
I generally don’t wish personal injury on people, but wow, fuck those neighbors with a rusty cactus.
