Even as a driver, I see public transportation as being good for me by taking a bunch of traffic off the roads I’m driving on.

That 2nd to last one is dope.
Also, I’m really annoyed he went cross brand for some reason. Seems like it should have been an F150.
Well, let’s look it at it like this. BMW took the GT acronym and attached it to awkward looking four door sedan/wagon hybrids. When in fact, the 6 series and the 8 series were true GTs, Gran Turismos. So, it is BMW trying to change what GT stands for, and forcing said vehicle design down our throats, when in fact,…
The ME412 is a Chrysler, not a Cadillac.
If you look at Mercedes, BMW, and Audi concepts, those also don’t look like anything you’d expect to see in one of their showrooms for at least a decade or so - perhaps that’s not the issue then. I was surprised to read they’re selling more CT6s than Merc are selling S-Classes. I’m guessing that’s in the US, not…
It is. It has the sort of effortlessly striking looks the Bentley GT Coupe envies and has never achieved (that would be the natural competitor to shoot for). Problem is, large luxury sedans are not a growth category and have turned into a niche product already - large coupes are an even tinier slice. But man, that is…
Yep, Elmiraj all the way. Those who are so attached to the Escala have failed to See the Light and must be treated like the infidels that they are.
Let’s talk about another Cadillac that they didn’t produce that probably would have been a home run. The Elmiraj. Mercedes rolls out an S Class Coupe and an E Class Coupe, Lexus produces its LC500, which is getting rave reviews for what it’s for. And BMW, has just showed off an 8 Series Concept AND a camo’d M8. Yet…
I still think the El Mirage concept is the best looking large coupe I have ever seen. I want them to make it sooo bad.
Weirdly the best selling Cadillacs are the ones, they just apply makeup to. Which would usually mean they aren’t really good at building cars themselves, but IMO it is the other way around. Which makes the whole situation kind of weird.
I’m about over the badge snobbery take.
The really funny thing is that Cadillac’s best selling vehicles, the Escalade, XT5 and XTS, are their worst vehicles. While their nice cars struggle to sell in sustainable volumes.
What breed of guide dog do you use? Lab or Golden Retriever?
But but but but.....the Corvair.....er....the Vega!!! Roger Smith!!! What fucking year is it?????
False. They’re distinctive for sure.
I’ll take this design over anything Lexus or Infiniti is currently pushing.
Because people don’t deal in facts. They deal in emotions. And if daddy’s 1987 GM wasn’t reliable, then they must not ever be reliable.
It’s sad that like you said, it is one of the best sedans that GM has ever made and no one cares or notices. Arguably Cadillac is at its best right now car wise, and the only thing they can push are Escalades and XT5's.
Versus the confidence that used Audi, BMW, and Mercedes vehicles instill, of course, being the paragons of reliability they are.
The Chrysler 200. Had the potential to be a spectacular car. I had two of them, both the same year, one with the 2.4 L gas guzzler 4 cylinder, and a 200 S with the 3.6L V6.
My only complaints about them is that it was not either AWD or RWD. The 2.4 was a bit under powered for the size, and the engine gave out after…
