I’m definitely not sold on Cadillac’s new design direction. It’s the lack of strictly vertical headlights and taillights that do it for me. The Escalade, Elmiraj, and Ciel are all critically acclaimed expressions of Cadillac design language, and I believe that’s largely due to the stacked lighting elements.

I actually prefer the un-edited concept. It looks grand, as any serious grand tourer should be.

Marchionne should definitely make that Dodge’s new slogan

I wish Acura would go full SH-AWD

Toyota Camry of yuppies: Audi A4

The Toyota Camry of well-off moms: Lexus RX

That’s definitely the Porsche Cayenne.

That’s easy. People want a car they can drive and, most of all, live with. Little and light cars are a fun novelty.

That’s actually reasonable. I still disagree on some points, but I’m sorry about my inflammatory comment.

Are you kidding me? The C7 is a looker to this day. What are you talking about? Hipsters, man.

Only if it comes back as a wide-target range Korean pony car/muscle car. With Genesis coming out with a 4 Series fighter, Hyundai has the perfect nameplate to compete with both the Detroit muscle at the higher trim levels and Nissan Z/Toyota 86 at the lower trim levels. Leave the FWD sports-economy car to an improved

Basically these non-performance, luxury crossovers are the equivalent of high heels.

You sure? It’s the same thing that makes them not sell the next generation Verano in the states.

I just wish Chrysler Group’s future owners will be Chrysler. I’d take a bailout over seeing them mismanaged or drawn and quartered by Fiat.

The other is a luxury cruiser that simply happens to go about very quickly if you ask it to.
