To me it definitely felt more rushed and slap-dash than FDAC. I wonder if Wain and Showalter were just too busy to put in the time this go around.

Man, Marguerite Moureau needs to be in more stuff.
Yeah, I'm guessing they only had him for 1 or maybe 2 days. I feel like this is a bit of a problem, because his character is so great and gets the short shrift. Didn't bother me as much with Bradley Cooper in FDAC, because Ben always felt tertiary to begin with. Although we did get the second best "breaking the 4th…
I started doing that too. Especially when you see notice, for instance, Jason Schwartzman seems to be in a whole lot of shots just by himself.
I think she's just kind of a….spazz? Is that word considered okay to say?
I really think Hawley needs to tighten it up with the editing on this show. So many slow shots. So much unnecessary slow motion. I guess he's trying to create an atmosphere and make it more cinematic, but it usually comes off as self-indulgent.
In O BROTHER, Tim Blake Nelson's character gets baptized and says "I been warshed of all my sins."
you like your men curvy do you
Absolutely not saying this is the case with their marriage BUT it is fascinating sometimes when you think people have a perfect marriage because they stuck together, and later find out there were serious problems/infidelity and they made it through. For instance, anyone read the Coppola stuff in Easy Riders, Raging…
House Bunny is way funnier than it has any business being, and she fully commits. Also believably pulls off being a Playmate (that's my subtle way of saying she's hot).
Yeah but being cable TV big time is pretty different than "starring in the 4th most highest grossing movie of all time" big time.
Seems like her career has settled into a comfortable sitcom life, which is basically a 9-5, and his was probably similar while on Parks & Rec. But when one of you begins starring in $200 million tentpoles, it's another lifestyle entirely. I can't imagine it *helped* things.
Definitely. The last episode is the best.
This is kinda why I kept thinking "this shouldn't be a series, this should just be a movie" as I binged it this weekend. Having Mark and Claire around solely to make a repeated "they've been here the whole time" joke would've worked well in a 90 minute movie, but feels stretched thin over 8 episodes.
Probably don't wanna get in the habit of pointing out anachronisms in this season. I think it's part of the joke.
Gonna need Eric Nies on The Grind too.
I think everyone voted for him just to see if they were even looking at the votes, knowing there was no way the dude would end up on air. Of course after he won they sidelined him as quickly as possible. But he DID get to release that terrible album.
With credited rewrites by Clooney and Grant Heslov. Best to temper expectations.
I like both equally! *raises middle fingers*
oh no he was an asshole even in the Whiskeytown days (late 90s)
