Yeah, the Michelle Yeoh one actually seemed interesting. Basically a Hong Kong action movie but with all the Bond spy elements intact would've been pretty cool.
I think Stephen Frears would've directed the Jinx movie. Sometimes seems like that guy can't smell a shitty idea if his nose is buried in it.

If I were the interviewer I would have asked Fassbender if that's what he was trying to do: take Elba out of the running so he could then swoop in and take the role under cover of darkness. I'd have won a Pulitzer.

Remember the Jinx spin-off movie with Halle Berry that was supposed to happen? Neither does anyone else.

That's pretty much it, yeah. They also show lucha libre wrestling. Other than that, it seems to be mostly '70s and '80s b-movies/grindhouse.

As I heard Dana Gould say (quoting some SFX person) "Practical effects look fake but feel real; CGI looks real but feels fake."

Homeless man (actually a lady) from the guy's dream jumping out from behind the dumpster in Mulholland Drive.

I am happy for him that he doesn't have to supplement his income by freelancing for sitcoms like Cristela anymore (at least for now).

I think that's more Mike Schur's doing than Daniels'. I don't think Daniels was heavily involved by the end, but I could be wrong.
