I don't even remember him in that, and I loved that movie as a kid. It probably doesn't help that he was pretty despicable in his other best-known role (I think) in Pretty Woman.

I have this thing where George Costanza is one of my favorite characters of all time, and I think Jason Alexander is brilliant in the role…and yet…I can't stand him outside that role. Like even just in interviews, I find him sort of obnoxious.
A show by two New York Jews about New York Jews screams of white suburban views?
How dare you, sir!
Mine "works" but it will skip to the next track in the middle of a song, show me the wrong track, shut down randomly, etc. There's also all sorts of problems that I guess stem from using mp3s instead of AAC files, but switching them out never seemed to work either. I think it's a battery problem, but of course that…
Everyone I know that had one was very pleased with their purchase, and were only pissed that Microsoft abandoned it relatively quickly.
This actually makes it worse. Not only is this a shitty feature, it isn't even innovative.
Or make one that lasted longer than a couple of years. I went through at least 3, including the last generation. No longer works properly if it works at all. Meanwhile, I have friends who have Zunes that still work! Honest to god — ZUNES!!!!
Hasn't that always been their argument when people want a longer life battery? "Oh but the phone would be thicker." Who gives a fuck?
I didn't even get past episode 2 of that, and I love that series and loved Cold In July.
To be fair, this is probably how the press materials are packaging it.
Still sore that FX didn't greenlight Scott Frank's adaptation of the Charles Willeford books, HOKE, with Paul Giamatti in the title role. Still need something to replace Justified.
My thoughts exactly, though I don't know if that's fairly typical practice in Hollywood.
The upcoming Masterminds is for hire. He did make a sleeper hit and the Jack Black movie did well, but that was 10 years ago and since then he's only managed a couple of duds that were barely released. I don't bear him any ill will, I just don't really get it. It's always mysterious to me why some filmmakers seem to…
Jared Hess will keep getting jobs in Hollywood we will all continue to be perplexed as to why.
This article by Coulter's date to the Roast (Bill Schulz, formerly of Red Eye where he played the liberal sidekick) said Spade, Ross and Lowe apologized "through a mutual friend" that it got so brutal. https://www.entrepreneur.co…
Good to see Artie Lange finding work.
Yeah, I'm in agreement with you. I guess what I mean by he doesn't have acting skills is just that you never forget for a second that he is Peyton Manning, but he has comedic timing and can deliver a funny line. Come to think of it, that could describe a lot of successful actors, particularly comics turned actors.
Goddamn right.
He's always been pretty good on SNL. I wouldn't say he has acting skills, but he's not awkwardly bad like most athletes. He seems to know his limitations. Remember Brett Favre in There's Something About Mary? Yeesh.
