That particular Lagonda interior will forever be my perfect ideal of what a car interior should be.

This belongs in the pantheon of heroes with Citroën.

One of its best features didn’t make it into the article: tandem seating!

My neighbor parks a 4th generation Jetta on the street where I can see it every morning. It’s the energy vampire of cars. I lose a little of my will to live every time it’s in view.

First time at Torchlopnik, I see?

Mac / Apple almost collapsed several times under Jobs’ leadership; it wasn’t until he started pushing those pretentious “black / white / COLOR?!?!” ad campaigns that they came back from the brink.

I am intensely curious to know how this made it through federalization, and if they really are in America already. Their website does have a link to request a test drive, and it accepted my info, so we’ll see if they really get back to me with some way to actually drive one of these, here in the U S of Aaaaaaay

I was really hoping for a lot more camera in the tire footage, and a lot less Bad Fashion Dad yelling at me

Sounds like you live in a van by the river, covered in handmade signs, making homemade bombs.

My car has controls on both the center console (knobs) and the steering wheel (spinners). Because the knobs on the center console are right where my hand naturally falls, easy to use without looking, and provide better fine motor control, I use them about 80% of the time, compared to the steering wheel controls.

And presumably much more affordable than a Defender. Ford may just have a winner on their hands if they get this right.

I’m not the greatest at lightening up a silhouette photo, but even this much reveals a damn good looking 2-door.

Unpopular (?) opinion — I would rather have a Mustang II than about 90% of the Mustangs that came before it.

Ugh, there is no way I can watch 20 minutes of overdubbed video.

The Landline Telephone Concours hits a little too close to home. I have two Bell Model 500 telephones, a 1978 Western Electric “Noteworthy” that I got because it was featured on The Americans, and I just acquired a Nortel Displayphone that I’ve been in search of for years.
