It's weird to hear a Sony person give a (relatively) hard number on the sales of a game they put out. Outside of Polyphony, it doesn't seem like we hear a lot about how many units the 1st party Sony games sell.

I love it when mainstream news covers video games. LOVE IT.
I was very confused by her drawl at first - I wondered if she was having issues reading the prompter. I feel bad for thinking that.
I want to dismiss this because it's been so ridiculously long since KH2 came out but crapdammit if that music doesn't get me all tingly inside. If this comes out before I'm dead I'm sure I'll end up buying it anyway and I'm sure I'll love it. Curse you Squeenix for still being able to make me care about your…
Hooray for PR speak.
That's great. I didn't get that scene during my par-tay.
I miss looking forward to a new Mass Effect game. I know there's one coming but since we've had zero concrete details so far, it feels so far away.
Shhhhhhh! EA might hear you.
I think it has it's own audience that quietly keeps giving Sony tons of money for virtual bits and bobs. This article is a couple years old but it sounds like it's doing well for them.
I didn't read your comment but I just wanted to give you recognition for dropping a pic of Cyril Sneer. Nicely done.
My PC could run Rogue Legacy but the machine is in a lonely part of my house. I'm excited able being able to play it anywhere next year.
Very true. Each platform holder relies on their own "code" of marketing speak to make you think that their machine has the best stuff. I hate that it's up to us as consumers to sort through this because there a lot of consumers that can't see through this kind of PR-speak.
I don't like it when either of them do it but Sony does seem to be more up front about using the word "first". Microsoft uses words like "only" when it actually means "only first".
I assume this means it's happening.
Sony doesn't mandate that indies have a long exclusivity window on their platforms so yeah, a lot of them will essentially be timed.
Absolutely! This was the one indie games that I've been watching on PC and hoping would come to Vita. I'll finally be able play Fez as well - both of these games on Vita make me very happy.
It's supposed to be out on PS3 September 3rd with a Steam release before that.
3rd party exclusives frustrate me. I get it, it's a good business decision for the publisher - I won't dispute the business logic of taking a platform holder's money. What gets me is potentially alienating your fans. Plenty of people consumers want to buy your product on other platforms. Why take the chance of…
There has to be another one of those coming, right? RIGHT?
