Har har yup... My problem with these stunt-based books is their stuntedness... When you tackle a topic using such gimmicky extremes, you're not engaging with the world as it is, so any "lessons learned" are not going to stick or resonate that well. That dude who wrote the build-a-toaster-from-scratch book, for

I don't think you should be making calls about what is "the best choice" or the "right thing to do". Especially when science has established that breast milk is so much better for the baby's health and development. (And that's not me saying that makes it "the right thing to do" — I leave that up to the mother.)

Geez, guess she's not so smart after all...

Hearty disagreement re. the Kardashians being watchable, even relatively so.

Yup, glad I'm not alone in this.

Really tragic how the new commenting system allows trolls to perpetuate the trauma

Another spot-on Explainer by the whipsmartest writer on the web. I will be sharing the hell out of this post...

Oh lawdy...

Love it.

What was the tip, pray tell?

Am I the only Jezzer who honestly loves the look of harem pants?? (Well, me and Lady Sibyl) Do harem-haters have different eyesight than harem-lovers? Is our blue your red??

"i put my feet up so their on his shoulders" (sic) sounds *almost* like a gospel lyric... And/or an indie band name...

Oh my lord this is a wonderland...

These could be useful on the proverbial Third Date ;)

Agreed! Best Lindy smackdown line ever. I pity the son of that irresponsible, crazy-eyed bimbo... He's gonna need therapy alright, Jenny... because of you!!

That's awesome. We should start a dream forum on here.

I know right?! I need to make a gif of that... Reminds me of a budgie I had as a kid, who once divebombed my plate of pasta, so hilarious.

You think there's any chance the baby hasn't interpreted, at the least, the fact he's been separated from his mother?? Separation, however justified, from an infant's mother, however shitty, is considered a severely stressful event by PTSD scholars and others.

Yeahhh I too studied psychology; these are pretty glib assurances you're offering.

The baby is "totally uninjured"?? I call bullshit. Even though the car seat (unlike the parents) did its duty and prevented a concussion etc, there is NO WAY that infant wasn't severely traumatized! He fell off a moving car and then lay abandoned on the road! For who knows how long!
