The end of 28 Weeks Later is still nonsense though as there's no way the French wouldn't have dynamited their end of the Channel Tunnel as well as put a massive minefield, barbed wire fences and machine guns there as well. Cillian Murphy isn't in 28 Weeks Later. There was rumoured talk of him cameoing as an Infected but it was shot down as being too depressing. Wish the makers of Alien 3 heeded that advice.

The sequel had that opening sequence where Robert Carlyle truly demonstrates cardio in the apocalypse and busts several moves like a champion in the process of getting away.
