Leave me and Dr Lizardo out of this.

Come on, this like the AV Club is literally a piece of The Onion history.

I thought it was Howard asking them to pay him what they'd already offered before they decided to seriously lowball him instead (with the likely aim of getting him to quit by doing so).

I thought Marvel/Disney were the ones who initiated cutting back on offering multi-picture deals and have been doing that already?

I have literally used a gif from Tron Legacy in a comment section this week.

We had Con Air release and then Face/Off the next week in my country. It was a great day for cinema in 1997 in Australia.

In all seriousness, I would like to hear Dr Emilio Lizardo's expert opinion on this.

I’ve never used or watched your service apart from 2 episodes of the IT Crowd at my brother’s place and the movie Wedding Season (not to be confused with the Hulu TV series Wedding Season) at my cousin’s place.

As per the subsequent experience of Game of Thrones for some people, it’s not just what they did but how they did it.

Hats of to Community because that finale was perfect. I was even a little mad because even though I already knew intellectually this had to be the last season regardless, it truly did perfectly indicate it was the end.

Fortunately, Roseanne employed that timeline splitting procedure previously seen to great effect in the Halloween film series and Neon Genesis Evangelion (multiple times) and Highlander ... er not quite so much

I quit Lost I think 3 episodes into Season 3, or was it Season 2? I honestly can’t remember. It was the episode where Sayid warns Jack that something about Hurley isn’t right and he could be leading them into a trap. Jack says he’ll have a plan for that but gets them all captured anyway - then at the end of the

The British did the Lost ending (and so much better) two days earlier. Except it was a nice pub, not a church and the guy escorting them into the afterlife was a barman.

The British did the exact same ending as Lost two days earlier with one of their long running TV shows (lucky for them!) but so much better and without the pretentiousness.

You could literally see Battlestar Galactica disappearing up its own asshole when the Final Five were reveal to All Along the Watchtower.

The finale (and Season 4 in total while we’re at it) set in motion my ultimately quitting television. I’m still mad about it.

I was mad about the Community ending because it was so well done in conveying that this was truly the end. Now ... for the movie part of Six Seasons and a Movie!

Funnily enough, we had a better version of the Lost finale two days earlier in Australia and the UK when a different long running UK show had functionally the same ending but much better executed (and much less pretentious).
