This is what my mom always says. Don’t badmouth your deadbeat ex in front of the kids, because they’ll just think you’re bitter. If your ex is truly a deadbeat, the kids will eventually figure it out on their own.

The part of the story that resonated most with me was the statistics, more than his personal story. In fact, the more I think about his story the less I sympathize with him.
