Probably has a ridiculously light flywheel judging by the way it can blip for downshifts. I imagine it’s really tricky at parking lot speeds.

True, but I don’t think that has much effect, if any, on full braking 60-0 distance.

What I can’t work out is the hairpin linking the two bridge straights. There’s a concrete divider all the way down and then the roads don’t even intersect, one direction crosses over the top of the other.

So I might be missing something here, but the hairpin between the two bridge straights doesn’t seem to work at all. I went on Google streetview and there’s a concrete divider all the way down as well as grass/trees growing in the median. Also, the roads cross over one another, there’s literally nowhere to turn a car

It’s certainly possible that the Model 3 could have better design tolerances than any other car in the world. They just happen to be manufacturing every single one on an approved deviation from the design.

Yes, just like any other V12. Doubling the imbalance of a straight 6 will still give you perfect balance regardless of cylinder bank angle so in their case, they don’t really care about the “Boxers have better NVH” argument. (Although I imagine certain angles are still selected to keep firing timing logical and even.)

“a requirement which we believe fundamentally affects public safety negatively.”

How long until the edit to the headline saying it looks questionable?

Yeah, Akon. Not much of a rapper, more of a light hip hop guy for a brief period.

And downshifting. It’ll shift down without the clutch but matching the revs doesn’t really work since there’s no neutral to hang out in while you blip it like in a car. Of course if we’re talking computer driven quick shifters, that’s different but I’ve never had the pleasure of riding a bike so equipped.

And that, my friends, is what’s known as the idiot tax.

That was my thought as well. Pulling it out is going to do a lot more damage than going in.

Make sure to ask about engine break in procedures while you’re over there.

Holy shit, that M5 one is hard to get through. I just feel worse and worse reading each person come to that realization.

I feel like you answered your second question in your first question.

Because you have to do it for the start point and the end point I’d imagine.

Last I saw, the Nissan GT-R was selling about 1000 per year for the last 6-7 years and does not benefit from lower spec models sharing a platform. Not sure where I’m going with this but that’s a good bit worse than the SS if those numbers are accurate.

Dude rode a GSX-R600, I doubt he’s interested in any of those.

In all fairness the muscle cars of today aren’t muscle cars in the sense of the old ones. Most of them are more like proper sports cars now.

Perhaps early e-diffs overheated. Or a Jag e-diff or something otherwise meant for cruising more than track abuse.
