And they said Apple can't patent a rectangle!

Well, the second option (with the Apple script) makes you turn off all the applications from launching at startup. Then the AppleScript launches the apps in the order you want them to show up in the menu bar.

I think there is a way to do it by changing a .plist file.

After typing in your query, if you hit the button it would take you to the website of the first hit. For example if you typed in "Apple" it would take you to "apple.com"

Of course, and they want you to go to an Apple store so they only send like 10 units to Best Buy.

I got $550 for my 16GB Original iPhone when I got the iPhone 3G. That is $50 more than what I paid for it, and that was unsubsidized. eBay is the best method for selling old iPhones, and now I can unlock them from Apple! No more jailbreaking!

If you think about it, it is hard to create millions of phones in just a couple of weeks.

Seems pretty cool, surprised iTunes doesn't already have support for this.

Hmm, never knew about the volume buttons, but definitely knew about the power buttons.

I think the main reason Best Buy thrived and everyone else failed is because their main selling point is that their employees are NOT on commission. And when people know the sales man do not work on commission they think they will get better recommendations and will not be forced to buy something they don't need.

Yea, but InAnimateAlpha was talking about people who do not post from twitter. They just use hashtags.

Yes you can, not sure if that guy is in the US or not. Porting numbers is no problem if you are on a cell phone or a landline in the US. You can even port your number to Google Voice and away from a carrier completely.

Well, technically yes. But it looks like most manufactures build NFC into the battery since it is closer to the back than the phone itself. Pretty much every Android phone has the NFC chip inside the battery.

"battery connector also has five pins, compared to the current four, which suggests that we may see a change in battery technology"

Not really, the settlement said Verizon cannot block tethering apps in the App Store. It has nothing to do with Apple not allowing tethering apps in their app store.

In the US if you want to tether you have to pay extra.

Never heard of that before, but by some of the articles about it NDrive wanted them to pull it because they didn't license the data and they didn't want to get sued.

With iOS 6 you can activate something like that if the phone is "lost".

Where exactly are these cabbies?

It's a web clip icon. Just go to maps.google.com and add to home screen.
