You forgot:

A matter for the courts!

Air chisel.

Wondering if the ‘weird noises’ heard prior to the wheels spinning backwards are actually the reverse gear grinding in a manual transmission as he forces it into reverse. Then, dropping the clutch and spinning the tires?

Slightly better than what I was picturing:

I’m a car guy through-and-through but... What? Why? Being a Washington resident, I know that “in an Oregon lean-to for almost 20 years” decodes to “heap of rust held together by moss”. And a Renault?! Le Car?!

So, lemme get this straight. I can either pass on the right to get around somebody driving too slow in the left (passing) lane (incorrect, according to you). Or, I can camp behind said left lane camper, get increasingly frustrated, possibly tailgate him unintentionally, and have them prevent me from traveling the

Also, Lex Luthor is FUCKING FICTIONAL. Welcome to our most unfortunate reality.

RA is great and I think that their website is perfect for most of their target audience. I trust it more than Amazon when it comes to auto parts. I have an issue when I am trying to find say, brake pads for my Explorer and they are showing up next to chrome wiper arms for a Maxima.

THANKS DODGE!

Best use of a Grand Am I can think of. Although I did drive one that I got for free and fixed. Took it from 160k to 175k, sold it to my neighbor for $2500 and he took it over 200k donating it to charity. Must have been one in a million.

Keep it up David! I love reading about this kind of stuff and we need more of it!

Pretty common in old trucks. It’s probably a 5-speed main box with a 4-speed auxiliary (aka Brownie) behind it. It does require constant attention, especially when getting up to speed from a stop.

Wait, they have NiFeCr alloys and stainless steel??? What kind of wizardry is this?*
