Seriously, you have to wonder if the Russians are as stupid as it looks. Did they not learn anything in Afghanistan? I thought that the US was the only country who had a lock on repeating history.

So Tyler, have you had a one-to-one with Sen. McCain to discuss the F-35 and all it represents?
I was trying to figure out what the deal was with the Prism Defense video. Prism is big into Ship Helicopter Operating Limits research which seems to be a kind of “connect the dots” prediction of wind velocity and wind angle to get a favorable combination for the incoming helo. In the video, in the last bit of time,…
Question - does the pilot select which missile gets launched or do electronics determine when one leaves when he hits the trigger?
Jerry, if you put external weapons on the F-35, wouldn't it take the F-35s one big advantage, stealth, away for the most part?
Vegas, I think you’re right on the money with your comment. Only two AIM-120s are depicted in the pictures. Everything else looks like AIM-9.
fred, I think I read somewhere that when F-22 production ended, LM stored the tooling, special fixtures and documented the hell out of the process in anticipation that the line might reopen in the future.
aren't all US icebreakers operated by the US Coast Guard?

Thanks
Samuel, first, thank you for your service.
You missed my point.
Jeeze, what an asshole remark.
When a friend of my mother brought a Toyota Avalon, my mother was incensed. I asked why and she said, “That car is made by the Japanese.” To her, distaste for anything Japanese had its roots in the events of December 7th, 1941.
did you not watch the video? At night you can see the carrier and the lights on the flight deck and the ball long before you actually land. In this video, he didn’t see anything until the split second before he hit the deck. Big freakin' difference.
look at the context. Here's a Naval Aviator trying to get back to the flight deck in a GodAllMighty sandstorm. Anybody deducting points because he trapped on the 3 wire versus the 2 wire should have the pencil shoved up his ass.
In those conditions? Nobody is counting.
at least when the aircrew hit/missed whatever it was, they didn't just bail out and walk away like the azzhats making the Nic Cage movie on the Gulf Coast did to their PBY.
...probably forgot to issue them backbones like we did the Iraqis.
