Marshall Plan after WWII rebuilt Europe.
Marshall Plan after WWII rebuilt Europe.
US foreign policy doesn’t understand Middle Eastern cultures. It didn’t understand it when “W” sent troops into Iraq without a plan for how manage the peace - feed people, keep infrastructure working, manage the tribal animosity. Seriously, these are people from two different branches of the SAME religion trying to…
a) thanks for sharing and b) that's scary.
Sometimes validation takes a lot longer to show up than it should. Well done, Jack Northrop.
Perfect example of design by committee with an ever increasing, and often at odds, requirements list. It's a good damn thing that the aeronautical engineers who created this PoS didn't immigrate to the US. What? They did? Working for who? Oh, you don't mean Lockheed on the F-35 program? Oh crap, nevermind.
Thank you! What a great way to start off my Sunday, watching the Blue Angels.
Next iteration of the A-4?
“The article, which is still available to Aviationweek.com subscribers, pictured what looked like a stock Super Hornet rear fuselage, with standard tails, possibly with low-observable coatings on their leading edges and quadrilateral air intakes...”
re: vastly underestimating the US capabilities, in WWII, Japanese Admiral Yamamoto said, “I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and filled him with a terrible resolve.” after Pearl Harbor.
October 1962 more like it...
ummmm, too bad. But you do grasp the context, yes?
Two questions:
Kind of interesting “twist the tale of the tiger” type of video. Pretty bold statement actually. But you know what they say about alligator mouths overloading hummingbird asses.
Dude, you completely missed the point of "Red Dawn" - either version.
looks like the Russians built a better F-14.
I was in an Army unit that had a mission to be anywhere in the world in 48 hours. When you saw a C-5 land, you just started collecting your go bag and deployment stuff - an exercise was coming.
yeah, A) thanks for sharing, and B) a sock on the mike and a little editing would be appreciated.
seriously, any criminal organization worth it’s salt could get into and out of the place where MH17 went down with whatever it wanted. You pay off the guys that fired the SAM, they shoot MH17 down, you kill the guys that fired the SAM and you go to the crash site and scoop up what you need.
what about some of the new ECM pods being developed - didn’t the Marines just build one that’s pretty small but very capable?
Buzz, would make sense for the F-22 to be as radar-reflective as possible so that the Russians can't get any solid readings on them. Should probably fly all of their missions with drop tanks on and any BVR intercept gear off.
