Real question: Is Kirk Cousins actually good? I mean, I know he started last year but any Washington games I watched he looked only so-so at best. I know there’s a “need” for a franchise QB in today’s NFL but I didn’t see a whole lot that would make me more excited for Cousins than say, Tyrod Taylor.

Someone is fan boi butt hurt.

They’re working on a solution.

Reich has already started drafting a play he calls the “Indy Special”. However, instead of being a touchdown thrown to your quarterback, it will be one of your linemen eating a variety of fried fair foods until the other team quits in disgust.

End the War on Terror? You must still be in college. In the real world most rational people know that the pieces of shit we are fighting in Iraq and Syria would take pleasure in decapitating your entire family.

Because when you have a chance to sign a 31-year-old with a history of arm troubles and just pissed himself silly in the World Series to the tune of 3 1/3 IP, 8 ER, 9 H, 0 K, 2 BB, 2 HR, you absolutely should!

This isn’t even relevant. That is a different country who is our enemy at the moment. This sounds like it was written in North Korea by the dictator himself. There is no connection whatsoever. If you’re going to criticize the White House, go ahead because you won’t lack material, but please don’t write junk like this

Yes, they gave him millions of dollars. Those dollars are eligible to buy Venezuelan houses.

The J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS

Eh. If a client can afford that kind of law firm, I don’t really feel too bad that they had to pay 50 bucks for a late night deep fried smorgasbord. It probably pales in comparison to the hourly fee they’re being charged. Lighten up my friend.

Asked yesterday if he would waive his no-trade clause, LeBron said:

Joe Johnson, Dwyane Wade and Derrick Rose? The 2011 NBA trade deadline is nuts!

What did Cleveland get for Wade? An autographed picture of Pat Riley?

counterpoint: Give him some more Mountain Dew Code Red.

Just when this shit is getting good?

Frankly, I don’t understand why anyone would pay that kind of money to watch a fight on TV. If it’s on TV, it should be free or maybe a few bucks, like a PPV movie. I can understand spending that money to go see the event live.

I generally love watching sports at a bar, and I’ve had some fun times getting half-cut watching hockey, football, and soccer in rowdy pubs. But MMA bros are not your usual sports fans and watching fights surrounded by a bunch of drunk people who’ve taken 3 BJJ lessons and suddenly think they’re a seasoned cage

I think this is a big part. To be honest, MMA filled a niche market that was interesting from 1997 thru about 2012. Unfortunately right as they were attempting to expand, I think that general interest dropped, specifically around the desire to spend $60 for a PPV and also having a PPV twice a month.

I absolutely agree. Hell, for the fights I really want to see, I’d be willing to pay a few bucks to stream it ($5 seems like a good number). But realistically, I’m not having a PPV party in my house, and given the fact that I’m not that desperate to see these fights live, $50 is never gonna happen. They need to
