They will get 0% of the zero top flight free agents they already weren’t getting. How will they recover?

Those MAGA shitheads who got so comfortable ignoring every last thing except their desire to see the other side lose? You just crossed the first mental threshold they did. There’s always going to be a reason to cross the next one too

Hmm. Caught between two Michael Scott quotes to respond to this article. Do I go with “You are a thief of joy”? Or “Why are you the way that you are?” Both apply equally IMO.

This. I’ve been to San Antonio once, for about 72 hours, and it happens to have been after I visited Austin. I was drinking in the airport waiting for my flight home when I realized that I had the unmistakable feeling of wanting to live there and I couldn’t understand why nobody had ever mentioned how much fun SA was,

Haha Okay, buddy. Tone is inherently subjective. I acknowledged that both headlines could be read as negative towards Kawhi. But I also pointed out that the content of both articles was actually measured and included his potential side of the story, even though he was refusing to give it directly. Do you deny that?

The fact that Kawhi’s camp was mum throughout the season was a pretty well established part of the story. A charge of media negligence is pretty laughable considering athletes, more than ever, don’t need traditional media to tell their side of the story. Dude ACTIVELY refused to say anything, but yeah...media got it

Yes, the people telling the story were the ones who told the story. Holy shit, man. What are reporters supposed to do? Violate HIPAA and dig through Kawhi’s medical records? Stake out his house and force him to comment? In the absence of anyone telling a conflicting story and without facts to show that it’s untrue, of

Even if information came only from the Spurs (a situation that Kawhi could have easily changed, by the way), is there any evidence the Spurs were spreading misinformation?

Or was he injured and truly felt the team and their staff let him the hell down?

This is very true.  States have caught on regarding nexus.  I have to file tax returns in over a dozen of states I do consulting work.  It’s too cumbersome to do it alone, so I had to hire an accounting firm to handle it.

I’d like to see it with another lineman in place of Trubisky.

next week, direct snap to Hicks

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I bet your version of the internet came with google, you can find all the information you want. You aren’t going to change your mind and neither am I so searching through peer-reviewed journals on a subject that has been beaten to death would certainly cost me more utils than I would gain. As an economist I am sure

You’re right, we aren’t all econ/stats people and so those of us that are should understand the danger in misleading/blanket statements like women are paid less than men for doing the same job.

Also have an economics background and a very heavy stats/analytics background. The way it is presented has definitely been debunked as it is incredibly misleading.

Kind of depends what you mean by debunked. Extremely misleading is technically not ‘debunked’, but the gap in like-for-like terms is effectively non-existent. It’s an abuse of statistics at the very least.
