Two PS3 era flops come to mind—Splatterhouse and Bionic Commando. Both were seriously flawed, but I love the former for its gonzo horrorhound sensibilities and bitchin' metal soundtrack, and the latter because the main character was voiced by FNM's Mike Patton and the storyline was batshit nuts.

Sometimes I feel like this:

It was a big week for DLC goodness as I picked up Kombat Pack 2 for Mortal Kombat X and the Porsche expansion for Forza 6.

I agree.

I know, right? What ever happened to E?

There's several fan-made remixes like "…And Justice for Jason" on Youtube where you can hear his bass, and I think it's kinda revelatory.

Welcome to modern "journalism."

Yeah, Priest did '"Dreamer / Deceiver" pretty much a decade before.

It's not a song, but the CD version of Miami punk band The Crumbs' 1996 "Get All Tangled Up!" EP had several minutes of silence followed by a loop of the priests from the Exorcist saying "The power of Christ compels you!" that has freaked me out when I wasn't expecting it on several occasions.

I thought the "stranger in a strange land" protagonist somewhat defines the series, except I'm not sure if that applies to Primal (haven't played it yet).

If they continue to set Far Cry games in different historical eras, what would you like to see?

I'm glad he's not Cheyenne away from roles like this.

To Kill a Mockingbird & Zombies

Why they did a closed beta as a stupid preorder bonus instead of an open beta to actually stress-test their servers is yet another head-scratcher surrounding the launch of SFV.

Can't wait for Excel Simulator II: The Audit!

I think because at their core they're resource management sims, and some folks love that kind of stuff. It's not my thing. I wish they hadn't included the settlement junk in Fallout 4, it bores me to tears.

Been playing some Street Fighter V and will continue this weekend, at least until I finish the survival mode with all the characters. I know there's been a lot of criticism about how lacking of a package this game is, but I'm really, really digging the core game and still glad I bought it. Not including an arcade mode
