Haven't played the original so can't speak to its quality, but I found the music on the PS4 version to be kind of grating.

Yes! Let's try to put that together for this Wednesday, I'll add a post to the community page. 8:30 CST seemed to work last time, but honestly any time after 7 CST is fine for me.

I mentioned this in another thread:

Do it! All skill levels welcome! We're going to try to do a scheduled raid a week, but I also envision the community to be a place where Gameological folks can connect for some shooty-shoot at their leisure.

I loved that game and may do another playthrough sometime.

ALERT: For those who haven't got Bloodborne yet, it's the Deal of the Day today on Bestbuy.com for $24.99, so only $20 if you have Gamer's Club. They've got God of War III Remastered for the same price too.

I couldn't play Drop Zone at all on the Xbox last night, but was able to get into a Walker Assault game. I might check out the PS4 beta tonight to see if there's any noticeable difference in graphical fidelity.

So I started a PS4 community, The Gameological Destiny Fireteam, and we are now six members strong! Wednesday we were able to get six folks together to run a raid, The Vault of Glass, and I hope we can make it a weekly thing.

I had a similar experience with some friends in college, but with Dr. Strangelove. No one laughed, and I was gobsmacked.

Large Marge in Pee-Wee's Big Adventure was nightmare fuel.

Man… Anybody remember Plop!, the DC comic that Wolverton did a lot of the covers for? Someone sold the whole set at my local flea market and I picked them up when I was about 13. I'd say it, along with punk rock and horror movies, was a major contributor to my juvenile delinquency.

Played by Dick Shawn, who was a popular, out-there, and ahead-of-his-time stand-up comedian who's kind of forgotten today. Probably because other than The Producers he really didn't have that many notable film or TV appearances.

"Did you say Abe Lincoln?"

As luck would have it, they never existed.

I thought that Ken Griffey Jr. 1989 Upper Deck rookie card was gonna put my kids though college.

I picture Scrooge McDuck swimming in a vault full of AOL CDs

Once upon a time we all paid by the hour for the privilege of using the internet.

*excited fart sound*

As great as the raid mode in Resident Evil Revelations 2 is, not having the Merchant be the one selling you upgrades is a missed opportunity.

My friend, who is a phenomenal drummer—we're talkin' can play Rush songs and shit—totally sucks at Rock Band because his body automatically wants to play more than the game asks for. Watching him fail at simple stuff like "Gimme Shelter" was amusing.
