At least when Justified was on, Bronco prices weren’t as cazy as they are now.

Obviously they should defund the police...

Silver and white cars tend to be easier to maintain over time, especially if the car is parked outside exclusively. Both colors reflect sunlight (less sun damage over time) and also do no show dirt as easily as darker colors or other colors do. Black is the worst color to maintain, but most people buy black because it

Its in instances like these I think that brining back the stockade/pillories of public humiliation makes sense for the person that rolled the wheel (if caught), but maybe thats just me....

That is quite the analogy to come up with there....

lol!

There are no Reublicans in Europe, twinkletoes.

Easy to sit here and judge from behind a keyboard. If the internet crowd is good at one thing its the cancel culture and call for 110% purity like they are perfect themselves. I could easily see someone who has committed to one thing in their life, all their life, and maybe listens to rap/hip-hop where that word is

Maybe this shows we should be focusing our efforts to reduce climate change emissions/impacts elsewhere other than forcing everyone to drive electric cars? Our lazy politicians seem to only want to go after the auto industry, because thats the easier thing to do.

That all sounds about right with SF. And its “park by feel”, the phrase I perfer to use :). Thats why when ever I go up to SF (or used to before it became unsafe) I always took my “beater car”. Plus it didn’t stick out and blended into the city-scape better.

As long as they can offer a manual transmission, I honestly could care less about the power plant. No sure what Jalopnik’s hard on for hybrids and electric cars is all about however.....

Would have loved to see an explanation of how the system mechanically works as well, IE how is it physically possible. I’m guessing the steering rack itself deflects a few degrees forwards or backwards as the steering wheel is pushed/pulled??

You’re right but I also think it has to do with the sweeping line in the body work that comes up to meet the halo bar at the rear of the halo, makes it flow better. Where as on an F1 car, at that same junction the body work is more square there so it looks more awkward...

A) Did the engine mount really need replacing (“courtesy inspections” are notoriously inaccurate, no business does good work for free)?

Make no mistake, AB5 wasn’t for some holy progressive feel good agenda. It was a bone thrown to California’s labor unions, whose craptastic work ethic was threatened by the gig economy. Of course, no surprise, this bill has un-intended consequences for people and their side jobs. https://www.sacbee.com/opinion/californ

Well the manufacturers are doing everything they can to discourage manual purchases, by only offering them with the lesser power train, or least desirable options. IMO they are ultimately shooting themselves in the foot, if they spent even a slight amount of effort marketing manuals as positive “feature”, they might

Overkill insanity looks delete, or even just wing delete would be a good option. I’m sure these cars are great to drive but the look is just way too over the top and not in a good way. Even in my teens I would have been repelled by the look of this car. Takes “trying too hard” to a whole new level.

Definitely better looking than the current F1 cars fir sure! Much better integration of the halo bar into the chassis, why F1 cannot just copy that aspect alone is beyond me...

Already have seen one in the wild driving around here in the Bay Area just last weekend, looked like a completely finished product too...
