My favourite sunglasses are Oscars. I feel fierce and awesome in them.

When I was looking for a wedding dress, I tried on an Oscar De La Renta dress and it was gorgeous. Of course, the staff didn't tell me until after I tried it on that it was like $10k (aka, WAY beyond my budget). Didn't buy it, but man it was cool for those five minutes.

Aw, no. :( RIP, Oscar. You made my first grown-up perfume, and beautiful clothes I could never hope to afford.

I will pull you out of the greys every time. More people must understand.

Let me take this opportunity to say that FITZ IS THE WORST. I try to say it as many times as possible so the world shall hear.

Yeah, I don't like taking sides here but...those scenes were gratuitous. I obviously don't mind them and I don't object to them on 2000 year old carpenter grounds but those were ladyboner scenes. Let's not dress it up too much.

i kept reading "gay sciences" and thinking, "Who is arguing with her about Nietzsche, and why?"

You know for goddamn sure these are the same people who think Fitz and Liv are in the best, healthiest relationship ever and that it's all Mellie's fault for existing.

Right? It's Taylor Swift. If Taylor Swift tried to write a song about the mean streets and how mean they can be that would go over like a lead balloon. Girlfriend leads a charmed life so she writes songs about that.

I understand you were upset she suspected you, but it's kind of decent of her to call up and give everyone $100, right? (It's possible that my years of working low-paid jobs and not having any money have blurred my view on dignity, though)

I can see how the $100 might be insulting, but updating you guys with a presumed apology, taking ownership, and coming back to try to make things right sounds pretty classy to me.

I have always wondered this myself, and have yet to see a consistent response from those in the industry. I guess it's just a feel-it-out kind of thing. Like, if you're a great customer generally and have a good rapport with your server, it probably won't come across as rude - or at least, he/she will know you MEANT…

I feel compelled to add my own best story from my time as a server.

MOM COME GET ME

Holy shit. Yesterday I put on The Woods and was thinking what a shame it was that they broke up. Actually.

There's also no Oregon dates which is bizarre. I am guessing there will be more Westcoast business added at some point— maybe festivals?

"I spent a miserable year, post-college, waitressing at a hokey chain restaurant most known for its gravy, mass-produced "vintage" decor, and "quaint" gift shop (licorice, pancake mix, plushy farm-animal toys: that sort of thing)."

Yeah, NOTHING in California. I wonder if my husband, who is an even bigger fan than I am, would object to a long road trip to your neck of the woods....

I've never served, but I did work in sales at a home improvement store for a bit...

Fluffy black pocket puppy for the win!
