Nope, they're just cracking a joke.
Nope, they're just cracking a joke.
Parts of Europe have been getting on Nintendo's case about that no-refund policy.
One thing is that the 3DS can be placed in ones back pocket.
Agreed. I saw a Tweet that was something like “We need to find out whose song that was so we can boycott them” and I was just amazed. Boycott? Over someone not wanting their creation to be used without permission!? I mean yeah, the laws could use some change (how long does copyright last again?), but not a near-total…
Stream honking also is a dead giveaway for the location of a streamer, making them an easier target.
Couldn’t be bothered to adapt it? I’d have taken lower graphics before this lazy product.
Oh, all you’d need is a power surge. No matter what connection type is used, something’s gonna be damaged if it sends in too much power.
Okay, that’s quite serious. However, it seems to me like this was a prior issue, whereas whatever caused this incident was introduced recently.
Willing to bet it was some kind of power management thing that was imperfectly cloned. I can honestly see a company as cheap as Nyko cutting corners that don’t seem important without thinking about the fact that an update may depend on said corners.
Nintendo’s docking mechanism is a proprietary add-on to the standard, not unlike Qualcomm’s Quick Charge (which charges batteries with up to quadruple the USB-standard voltage). Despite this, I’ve never heard Qualcomm get blamed for a knockoff being faulty. I can’t decide whether it’s just a VG insudtry thing to blame…
I think it’s a missed opportunity that cult music can’t be used as a sort of camouflage from enemies. Maybe Kojima just has me spoiled.
Classic tone problem.
Keio Flying Squadron all over again?
This has been on Tvtropes for years, dude. You’re late.
This is exactly why I prefer to have games I can hold in my hands.
All we need now is for the Pikachu to be nicknamed Ferguson!
When I read the article, I caught “...a week.” followed later on by a mention of “...the days kept going by.”
It’ll show cached messages for a while before dropping to offline mode.
It was discovered normally. The beginning of the article states that someone did it by accident and that, naturally, a search for answers on what caused it resulted from that.
I have a sneaky suspicion this comment wasn’t intended to be on a Mario 64 article.
