But cis women who are infertile are the first to point out that not ALL women can give birth, so I don't think you can really lay this on trans people.
For Bay, a movie is a pretense for spectacular action sequences, not narrative or worldbuilding. (The same might be said of Abrams’ Star Trek movies, which were written by some of the same people.) I never saw any of the Transformers movies past the original, but from what I understand there was never any real attempt…
Yeah, we haven’t faced the real test of how much Dylan speaking out has hurt his viability as a filmmaker, because he hasn’t released anything resembling a good movie in a very long time, so it’s hard to tell if people staying away is moral condemnation, or just recognition that his movies aren’t good anymore. If the…
So he’s not religious or spiritual but he believes in God and regularly attends church, and he’s not homophobic but he’s turning a blind eye to homophobia because he likes his church and his pastor and homophobia doesn’t really affect him. Got it.
Trans person writes review providing opinion based on personal experience.
the experiences that tenser experiences are trans experiences. it’s not really ‘stretching the metaphor’ if the first line that is said to this character is “there’s a new hormone in your system.” like... that’s what happens when trans people medically transition, it’s not a stretch if it’s obvious.

*walks outside to the park nearby*: “Wow I’m getting some real Breath of the Wild vibes from this.”
As opposed to all these anti-American films that have been killing it at the box office?
Also just two things: 1.) The star of this film is in a literal UFO cult, I don’t know how much more “Hollyweird” one can get; 2.) Who is confused in this scenario? The Hollywood studio that greenlit this $150 million film? Were…
