People who buy video games sometimes develop a bizarre sense of entitlement with regards to future changes (or opposition to changes) in their games. The number of angry messages demanding buff x or debuff y sometimes blows me away.

That’s absurd and ignores the entire point of the game. There are plenty of shooters whose only objective is to maximize your kill/death ratio, but that’s an entirely different genre.
