Just this past week they closed my debit card because it was used in three states in one day. I WAS DRIVING FROM NY TO NC!!! No call to verify. No freeze or temporary hold. Just straight up cancelled my card and mailed a new one to my address that I wouldn’t be at for two weeks. Was NOT pleased.

I don’t agree about the economy turbos BUT I’m not an idiot and change my oil and maintain my cars (somewhat) properly. Probably right that most economy car buyers will ruin them but I’m glad they’re available for non-idiots like me.

I watched this a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Both salesmen were very entertaining in their own ways and the way that one decides to change his life after is just a great payoff.

I have never and never will understand why Americans like compact sedans. They don’t bring in a lot of hatchbacks because “no one buys them” but if you want a used compact, the hatchbacks are always $1000 MORE than the sedan. We just bought a 2014 Golf and paid more than a Jetta with the exact same mileage but it was…

You see those all over in NYC. They’re replacing town cars with livery drivers. And for some odd reason, I kinda like them.

Owned one for a few years. Loved it. Not ashamed. My ex-wife still has it. 230k miles and still running fine. A very useful but hideous car. 30 mph highway and you could fit almost anything in it.

My best friend and his wife EACH have one. We drove it to Florida from New York for a comedy tour. Dreadful automobile. It just feels terribly broken even though it only has 20k on it.
