Yesterday I came across this on Miiverse. It was on that Barbie game's community.

So what? It's a fantasy. Why are gamers not allowed to fantasize again?
Male characters are hyper-sexualized just as much in games... The stereotypical male gamer is the opposite of a leading male character…

I don't see the problem with his statement.

He's basically saying "We are not paragons of social justice and political correctness. We just make cool shit.".

There is nothing wrong with that statement, and anyone who got flustered by it is a pretty much just looking for any excuse to be uppity.

This is an actual reply I've gotten when bringing up that point.

It's funny how women are allowed to complain about the characters with exaggerated women's bodies, but men aren't feeling upset about the perfect pecs, abs and biceps of the male characters. I certainly do not look like the men in games, but somehow that's OK.

The 3rd and 4th gen wars were a time of child soldiers. Being from the UK, we killed those Nintendo console dogs with our Master Systems and strangled the SNES lovers with our Mega Drive controller cables, but we could not win on the handhold front.

Super Mario 3D World is a terrific video game. It's just not a very good Wii U game.

Well judging from the video, looks like the game also has you strip dudes. WOOO EQUALITY!
