This is my biggest complaint about current EV’s offered. If the EV drivetrain had simply been offered in a more traditional car, it sounds like something I would want.

Electric cars are built around the batteries. You can’t just cram them in the trunk of your Chevelle.

Yeah, this definitely glossed over a lot of the complexities, but more importantly, a lot of the cost of going electric. Crate Electric motors are nothing new, Yamaha has an entire lineup of them. But electric swaps that have a useful range are hideously expensive.

There’s a petition to bring it over to NA (Canada doesn’t get it either).

You can still ride a motorcycle in some states without wearing a helmet. The logic being you’re only putting yourself at risk, which I agree with.

Sucks we’ll never get it here in the US but its nice to see it being made at least. Import laws need to be thrown out for cars like these. I don’t care wht Hyundai is doing, I’m just responding to the title. This is what fun electric car means to me:

Tracks that don’t put out 130+db when racing would have a much easier time getting approved and built.

This is why I FUCKING LOATHE the commercials about these automatic braking and lane departure systems that show people singing with their eyes closed, taking selfies, and whatever the fuck else and the car saving them from an accident. These systems aren’t that good and these commercials tell people it’s ok to not pay…

Can be car based, truck based, whatever. Just needs a little Ranger-style 6 foot bed to me. Everything is a pain with  those little 4 foot stub beds they put on everything nowadays.
