As someone who works in the auto industry, this is terribly mis-informed. First of all, you absolutely can’t make the car perfectly safe for the entire range of human body types. Vehicles aren’t very safe for people over 6'2" either, but the article doesn’t mention that.

If you live in the middle of Nevada, and never sleep, I surely understand.

There is one other development that’s even bigger than all that... the development of the integrated circuit which set the stage for the microprocessors used all sorts of devices these days.

“They should just work harder and stop complaining.”

Jalopnik: Cars these days have too many screens and not enough buttons!

My favorite conspiracy theory is that the government itself spread the alien rumors because anyone who started questioning the weird planes that were actually being tested at Area 51 would be immediately dismissed as whackjobs.

I mean...something will happen right? We’re talking about a country where a guy with a rifle entered a pizza and ping pong parlor to free child sex slaves based on some 4chan shit.

“Congratulations ZF, you just invented the Powerglide”

It’s not from *a* battery, but many of them.

I absolutely love the lines but this looks like a goddamn Logitech Harmony remote.

Where my wife works they’re chomping at the bit for AWD EV vans / trucks or SUVs. They see 4 to 8 clients per day all within our Metro area. They average ~100 miles per day (25K per year), so a 150-200 mile range would easily feel comfortable. They do go off road out into the middle of wet fields, so AWD is a must.

well right, but only because it did neither part well.

Neutral:

Neutral: “How can Honda specifically stand out in this space?”

On a loose surface, they are providing directional control by rotating the car and applying throttle. It's halfway between car and hovercraft.

An unnamed source at Ford was quoted by the outlet to say that healthcare for its 56,000 hourly employees will exceed $1 billion next year, and that GM pays close to $900 million annually for its U.S. hourly staff.

“Despite the many attractive EV options currently available to buyers”

Or maybe just don’t give incentives on luxury EV’s.

You know, it is nuts. Everyone says “low profile tires are required for performance!” Well, not all performance cars have low profile tires. (admittedly, these tire profiles are mandated, but you can’t tell me that your Hyundai with 1" high sideways can outperform this vehicle with the fat sidewalls).

There are unmolested NA Miatas for sale for $2,500 all day around here. Why take on all of the issues with this one? Perhaps for $500 and LeMons duty.
