Boxing-style decline, I think. It becomes less and less important, outside of maybe the Super Bowl, to the average American. Fewer great athletes, so therefore fewer interesting match ups, etc. etc.

It’s a great photo. The vertical lines in it are great, the bat, the arm, Trump’s tie, drawing your attention to all three. These sorts of pictures are in some ways lucky, but good photographers dramatically increase their odds by their smart positioning, and snapping multiple times quickly.
