I love Boyz N Tha Hood and enjoyed it more than DTRT (even though it might not technically be a "better movie", but I felt that it got a little too preach at times. My favourite movie of the genre, however, remains Menace II Society.

I don't understand why he's so revered. If you think it's shit, which it sounds like you do, say so. Do The Right thing was great and he's made a couple of other good movies, too, but there's some hackery in his work as well.

Didn't a S. Korean boxer also do this many Olympics back? I seem to remember there were two rings in the same venue, one used a bell and one used something else. @trunicated: I have no idea what this "upskirt" thing means in the legal context. I'm a prosecutor in Canada, and even though this PROBABLY wouldn't make it through charge screening, I don't think it would be outrageous to charge him with making child pornography (under Canadian law, obviously).
