Now...PLAIN zero.

I get the snark, but thinking about it more is there not potentially a niche for a walk-in clinic that focuses on minor sports-related injuries and physicals? You pull a hammy at the gym or whatever? I get that normal walk-in clinics could cover this as well, but it seems at least intriguing to have a clinic staffed

This is how we end up with “Footy McFootballface” in the 6 seed.

No, UCF could have sucked it up and let themselves be paid to come play a Power 5 home game with a team/teams. Their problem is they are insisting on a home/home to schedule with anyone in the Power 5. Take Florida as an example (in full disclosure, I’m a booster). Florida generates about 4 million net per home game.

I think the idea behind this rule is to stop schools from being able to have unfettered bidding wars over non-enrolled players. Without this rule, what’s to stop Alabama or USC or whoever from giving the kid a car or an apartment or a briefcase full of cash to convince them to enroll?

Oh God. I totally forgot about Codename: Iceman. Had the exact same thing happen. Man, FUCK that game.

That’s a sick bass. Need to see more of this.

This is untrue. The conference rules don’t allow you play in the SEC Championship game unless you play 8 conference games.

This needs more stars.

Sounds legit.

Ladies and gentlemen, the new coach of your Texas Longhorns...

Like I’ve said elsewhere, I’m clearly in the minority but I’m also not alone. If you were one of the advertisers or marketing people who, I would assume, read these sorts of comments wouldn’t you want to know that around 15% (based on stars) of your reader base who care enough to comment on your articles are unhappy

That’s not the issue, though. It’s a sports site - football vs. soccer (or whatever) isn’t the problem. The political stuff with a sports related slant is fine. But this article has nothing at all to do with sports. I DON’T expect the site to cater to my own personal tastes and write articles only for me - that’s

You haven’t really addressed my response, though. Sarcasm about my inability to skip an article isn’t really advancing the dialogue I’m trying to have with you (if you’re trolling, just say so, and let’s move on). But I’m legitimately interested in engaging in this topic with people that want to discuss it. We tend to

Thanks for advancing the dialogue! Have a great day!

Stars are always an iffy proposition but, as a loose estimate, just shy of 15% of the people bothering to star agree with what I’m saying. If you have a free pricing model driven totally by advertising and 15% of your dedicated consumer base is unhappy with a direction you are taking your product, you’d want to know

Pasting my generic response to this response:

I’m a dedicated consumer of their product voicing an opinion on the direction their product is taking. How exactly does that make me “entitled?” Isn’t that what consumers are supposed to do? Stars are an iffy way to judge response, but it looks like 10-15% of the people who bother to star agree with me. If you made a
