I don't think any of us can say that porn didn't make this situation worse. If that is her truth I am not here to take it from her.

All of the receipts she had and it’s going to take one for a 7 million dollar donation to make some people believe she's not lying.

That's fine.

There is so much to be disgusted by here but the fact that he went on to have daughters, the fact that he has professional success and the fact that the victim took her own life all jumped out at me as the worst parts. Each for different reasons.

This and ballet. I understand certain bodies have better shapes for certain sports (I.e. Jockeys) but when you are taking young women, women who are receiving criticism and shaming images from everywhere they look already and then apply the pressure of unrealistic athletic expectations- it’s scary. I am thankful my

I think the fact that I was more horrified by the dog murder than the murder of a woman and her children says a lot about how often these type of murders occur and how desensitized we have become to them. Or it says I'm a scumbag. It may say both.

I did NOT remember this, assumed it was a joke, scrolled with horror through the story and then laughed wildly at Aqua-nazis. Then looked around guilty as if the strangers around me could know that I giggled at Aqua-nazis.

When did rape become he equivalent of jaywalking in small town America....you may get caught but there will literally be no consequences. Martha Stewart spent more time locked up than Brock Turner.

I am wondering if it makes me especially dead inside that his choice of doing that at that time screamed “THIRSTYYY” to me. Just let her have her moment. Ask her later.

Unfortunately, because she is young and attractive and because he is a Disney pirate, even this video will bring out the “I bet she was smiling!” That is my favorite part- she was smiling. Never forget this is a country where smiling in the face of aggressive and frightening behaviors = asking for it.

I think it may be cultural as well. If I am having family over and I says “just bring yourself” I will be met with wounded, hurt replies and then also a hodgepodge of dishes that I didn’t ask for because they couldn’t show up with nothing. Even at my wedding- we had a cake. Made by wedding cake people. And then my mom

I think there is a time and place for everything. And the time to feed your child is whenever you and you child’s weird mind bond see fit (clearly not a mom here) and the place is wherever works best for you. Besides the whole pesky law that says I am right, there is also common sense. And the bathroom thing is the

I said that to my mother! Like even if you really believed for some reason those weren’t her parents, that a basic Google search had failed you....why are you doubling Down on it?! Why do you actually care that much to get on Twitter and post things like “they may be mom and dad but they are NOT her parents”

I’m not sure I know what you mean. I merely meant that people don’t realize why their coverage has been sexist or racist. That is always scarier to me because that is how that lives on, by the ignorance. It's not always open hate and MRA and KKK that perpetuate stereotypes and negative speak.

My comment was more regarding all of the ways that the coverage has been socially negligent. This may have been a mistake, that’s fine. I also say that these comments are not intentionally malicious, so it seems like we agree but and aren’t understanding each other. Representative of so many problems today, wouldn't

What is truly frightening is that these sexist and racist headlines and comments are not made to be intentionally malicious. Most people, even if they are internal scumbag bigots, will closet their demons for their professions. Nobody WANTS to be on the wrong end of these and having to make apologies and retractions.

That was just heartbreaking. I like to think I am aware of my many advantages in life but I never really considered my parents having a basic grasp of fairly common concepts as one of them. The whole thing just makes me feel defeated.

I don’t know what I believe about this case except for one thing: nobody received any justice. Not the victim, not the alleged murderers. Steven Avery may well have done the crime but the Backwoods bumbling of the trial and investigation should not have led to a conviction. Dassey was the saddest living casualty of

I took a huge hiatus after those departures :(
