Unfortunately, so true. Arizona is special in terms of how defiantly Anglo a bunch of the citizens can be, especially once you get out of Southern Arizona and metro Phoenix. Folks in those places are plenty racist, but can’t be as vocal as in shitholes like Bouse or Payson or the dirty Verde.
