Well, since you mention it, not all trans people need to undergo SRS – many are happy to live their truth in the bodies they were born with, and others simply don’t consider surgery to be a realistic option from a financial point of view.

You realize that using a birth certificate to get other forms of ID is pretty much how it works, right? You’re going to carry around an ID, not a birth certificate.
Easier identification, mostly. Having severe ID markers helps the government figure out which “Regan Smith” (for example) they’re looking for.
Legal proof of citizenship and identity. Vital statistics, which are important for figuring out ways to help people from dying prematurely. And I think it’s super awesome & important to include “intersex” as an option on birth certs. Also think it’s important to note transitions.
But your birth certificate is an essential pre-req to obtaining that license in most states, and they pull your sex from there to put on the license. Which is what I was saying, if you actually read the comment.
I’m not sure if you’re trolling or just dense, but okay.
There are actually decent reasons to list biological sex, mostly medical ones. As much as it might bother some people, there are actual important differences between male and female bodies that can dictate health concerns and treatments....so yes, I don’t have a problem denoting sex on a birth certificate.
Sexy-sexy mixed with kids never comes off as anything less than uncomfortable. Eew.
See easy fix & now he’s an actual hero. Make them just be people living & trying to survive together for years on the ship while it slowly falls apart from the damage & then have then come to love each other in time because they see how awesome the other person is. Her with her book knowledge & him with his fixing…
If that 10% (with an exclamation point no less) helps sooth your cognitive dissonance, go ahead. But facts are facts, and in fact both white men AND women are responsible. There are many articles even on this site to clarify this for you, perhaps a map as well (see above though it is pre-election, and note the states.…
She got paid almost double what Pratt got paid ($20 million to his $12) and she gets a percentage of the profits, so I imagine that have something to do with it.
What?!?!? He wakes her up on purpose cuz he’s lonely/horny knowing that she’ll die too? What the ever loving fuck is that? They couldn’t have come up with something happening to her pod too, like just when he’s about to commit suicide in despair or something? Especially since Laurence Fishbourne’s pod is damaged too?…
This could have been a really interesting, creepy film, and they ruined it by trying to be cute and shit. Just think how usually dopey nice guy Pratt would have been as an even more forthright, sinister stalker. Let’s say she wasn’t the first one he woke up, and the last one simply “didn’t work out” and is nowhere to…
They lost me at “Aurora.” You just know that whichever draft that first appeared in, the following script doctor’s immediate reaction was, “Too obvious” only to be countered by some studio lackey chirping, “Sleeping beauty — brilliant!”
Thanks Bobby, I am more than happy not to see Passengers.
You mean, without white men, the 53% of white women voting for Trump would have magically disappeared? The majority of people who share the same race and gender with Hillary Clinton chose not to vote for her, but hey let’s not mention this irrelevant little tidbit!
I am sick. I just want to hug this poor child and let him know I am so sorry the world is so ugly and violent.
Why shouldn’t he be subject to the consequences of a sex offender when he is a fucking sex offender? Wow it’s so painfully obvious that white men and boys are allowed to do whatever the fuck they want.
Flying sucks. My job used to be 50% travel (all coach) so I think I can say that. The fact that American, Delta, USAir, etc., act like you should feel fucking privileged to set foot on their flying influenza-buses just makes it worse. Southwest’s attitude of, “Yeah, we know this kinda sucks so we’re going to have…
...and never recline my seat.
