Yes, I have joined the staff.

Planelopnik

Ahem: “Is it car-related? Not at all. It is, however, plane-related, or at the very least plane-adjacent, and we write about plane stuff all the time. So why should this be any different?”

I need this gif, it expresses things I have difficulty putting into words.

None of those compete on power or price. Also this engine is arguably better than any offered by the Germans. I say that latter part as someone who LOVES the 4.0-liter AMG engine and the 4.0 Audi motor.

Thin line between Genius and Madness

GM could have had this.

Say what you will but I think the current CIVIC is one of the best looking cars on the road at any price. Plus the dash is done right. I’ve seriously thought about “downgrading” my current car to buy one.

The mechanicals, and most of the electrics, are pretty bulletproof with Lexus. The infotainment systems pre Android-Auto and Carplay were notoriously terrible.

I can’t imagine paying for a Mitsubishi!

Speaking as someone who does superficially similar field work in Texas, what he really needs to do is to talk to his supervisor about getting access to university vehicles. The importance of this cannot be understated - looking official opens a lot of doors at field sites that would otherwise be 100% closed if you

I can’t imagine paying for a Mitsubishi.

I have a Countryman (JCW tho) and can’t recommend it enough. Exceptionally practical, hilarious to drive, AWD (fellow Wisconsinite), heated leather, comfortable for multiple adults - and still a smaller footprint than a Corolla hatch. If you like your current Mini I say stick with what’s good.

There’s also the fact that compared to Marvel, most DC properties are joyless slogs.

i think people are just kind of tired of superhero movies in general. And the actors don’t give off the fun-loving group vibe of Downey, Evans, Hemsworth, Johannson, etc. I think fans were invested in that franchise because they’d been together for dozens of years and films. DCEU keeps looking for that chemistry, but

How sure are we that that’s even the reason? What was the last DCEU movie to make real money? BvS? The ones from the post-pandemic era have been busts. Gunn’s suicide squad made like 200M, Birds of Prey around the same. Black Adam cracked 300M. Shazam made 133 M worldwide, HUGE bust.

Dear movie companies, when you have a star that’s a terrible human being, no amount of “cover” or distractions from nostalgia can prevent the gen audience from reacting.

I think it’s worth it just because of the looks. The Civic Type R looks way too fast and furious for anyone approaching my age, and the Acura is just so much more subtle. It’s a low rent version of paying a premium for a mechanically identical GT3 Touring because you don’t want to be seen with the giant wing on the

Why are you even here? You’re not a car enthusiast. This is a site for car enthusiasts.

It’s already one of the best things Honda has ever done, and were I able to afford it right now, I’d 100% have a deposit in already. Yes, it’s a large premium to pay over a Type R, but I can tell you that having Type R levels of performance + more luxury features in a package that looks somewhat subtle is the
