I think the reason Cleric is at the bottom is because a large percentage of players fundamentally misunderstand what a Cleric brings.  MMO’s have conditioned the uninitiated (and plenty of initiates) D&D players that Cleric = healer.  More specifically, healbot.  Something I’ve been telling players of the original

Nope. Trickle down economics has been thoroughly debunked. Sorry Ronald.

No, it would have stayed in the studio's pockets.

Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark hit every FFT note for me, but *more importantly* it captures the essence, feeling, and charm of the wildly good Jeanne D’Arc (PSP). Now if someone could please remaster THAT game, I’d be in Tactical SRPG heaven.

I would love to see them go back to the drawing board with Dragon Commander. The gameplay was kind of meh (it was like a kind of worse version of Lair?) but the in between mission dialog and choices were absolutely sublime.

Also don't agree with calling it live service. Being an mmo is not live service by the meaning now

Literally half the game will be free with the coming expansion.. No need to throw it into gamepass when you have so much content that’s already free.
Just pay for the game like the rest of everyone else.

Totally surprised by this.  Good for Xbox gamers, really.

Aaaaaaaand, what wonderful timing, they’re also expanding the free trial through Stormblood which opens an absolute fuck ton of new, really good content.

As a FFXIV player, I welcome more people being able to try the game out.

Could not have said it better myself. It is super concerning that they don’t think their playerbase won’t always know how to find a meta in 2023.

However, the team is presently concerned that player choice in builds is dying in favor of go-to metas, meaning that if you don’t emphasize cooldown reduction, or optimize builds to send foes into Vulnerable status, you’re operating at a disadvantage”

Thanks for the level-headed response to some really bad hot takes :p

But those other heroes are human (well, depends on the version for Hawkgirl). Having Superman as an inspiration for other heroes as a symbol of what he’s doing for humanity as a whole is not a bad idea. Hell, one of all-time favourite DC superhero is Steel, whose whole impetus for becoming a hero is being inspired by

I think it could work - if Superman is going to be an inspiring figure, it’s not a bad idea to give him people to inspire. And you could make something entertaining out of the contrast between how inspiring Superman appears to other heroes, and much of a goofy dork he actually is as Clark.

Netflix did a Christmas musical a few years ago called Jingle Jangle that has a lot of the same vibes as this trailer (and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) by the same people who worked on Greatest Showman. It’s worth checking out.

This is why the best outcome for each console generation is for the previous winner to lose the next. Sony was arrogant and anti-consumer as hell with the way they presented the PS3, and they really paid for it out of the gate. Similarly, Microsoft was the same after the 360 did so well against the PS3, and paid for

I agree with you that this ruling is good, personally I think it’s great for PC/Xbox gamers. But between this hearing and the one in the EU, people are spending a lot of time and money debating whether or not it is a monopoly. And my hesitancy is that right now, Microsoft is really consumer-friendly. But down the

Can we talk about the mural in the style of the series animation? And how I’m not ashamed to admit it gave me literal goosebumps?

I must be getting soft in my old age, but this looks like a ton of fun. I’ve always had a weird love of the all the movies, and I hope this one does well.
