I’m going to be totally honest, I was baited by the headline so badly because I was trying to figure out what “Sonic 3 and Knuckles” storyboards could be out there, and what tongue-in-cheek spoilers were we to look out for on a 30-year-old game.

Thank you! I love BG3, it’s an amazing experience, but it’s not the only solid one this year. We’ve had an absolutely outstanding year with so many good games being released that I’m not sure where this falls as being the “industry defining” title that people are acting like it is. It’s putting pressure on the right

I appreciate this share, hadn’t seen it before and it really adds a lot to overall discourse here.

Jeanne D’Arc is one of the many reminders I like to throw out about how good Level5 was in the Professor Layton-era of development. They were doing some great things in a variety of genres that culminated in the first Ni no Kuni. In other words, yes, a Jeanne D’Arc remaster would be phenomenal.

Dragon Commander was the reason I was confident they could do really well with BG3 (storytelling wise) and could not agree more that it would be great to see them go back there for a bit.

I’m not arguing to avoid doing it. I’m arguing that they’re going about it in the wrong way. If they can find a way to navigate the “meta” issues amongst the community and allow those super powered builds to exist, things would go so much smoother for them. As it is now, their attempts just hurt the vast majority of

This is the part that really stood out to me too. It would be an admirable sentiment if they didn’t have decades of experience within their own company at being unable to achieve this goal. Instead, it comes across as incredibly disconnected from the gaming sphere. WoW, Diablo 3, even titles like Overwatch and

It is absolutely a great Christmas film. Definitely second that recommendation.

It’s a Greco-Roman holdover as Owls are only ever really viewed as wise through those mythic traditions (the Owl being attached to Athena).

It is so funny how we've come back around to that attitude for shows after the initial "binge watching" era. I totally get why too. Part of the success for Amazon's shows (namely, The Boys and Wheel of Time) was the generation of weekly discussions. Something Disney has also seen in spades with their content too.

This is a lot of great news for the anime adaptation of Scott Pilgrim. The film’s cast was fantastic, and it will be exciting to potentially see them adapt the comics’ ending (rather than just the alternate one that Edgar Wright went for) and with Science Saru on board, that’s just sweet sweet music to my ears.

Cool, that mildly shifts my opinion then. Instead of it being the leaving of the old guard, it’s purely the fact that post Inquisition, Bioware has seemed to have no idea what to really do with the franchise despite the pieces put into play in that game. Whatever happens though, I’m still interested in Dreadwolf as I

I’m very iffy on what I see from that leak. It’s not “awful” in the sense that the game looks like it could be fun based on the style of gameplay, but that’s not what I go to Dragon Age for. I feel like Bioware has no real idea what to do with the franchise since the old guard has left. It’s really sad too, as this

It also actually costs about $900 here in Canada for some of the versions with the better memory space.

Admittedly, most reviews I've watched and read for Gotham Knights says that's the one thing the game has on Arkham Knight. It's a lot more stable (at 30fps) at launch than Rocksteady's last game was.

I was convinced back in February that a mode like this could work (through the example of Celeste) so it’s good to see that it does work out well here. I just don’t know how I feel about a “0% Damage Mode” as that voids a lot of anything from a game. Having that risk of failure still present, with some sort of

It pretty much was. Solid episode too, so I'm definitely intrigued by this one.

Yeah... both Hades and Elden Ring play with romances a bit more in the mythic field, so I totally get you there.

It’s quite clear with Liara that they were trying to go for the bookish nerd type, not a younger woman. Mix in the fact that she’s never “really” your subordinate throughout any of the three games, and the sleaziness of her potentially coming across as younger is not as big a deal compared to Tali.

I adore Bastion and that hurts so much to read. It's not a good enough game to suffer through that at all.
