Yup. Nine out of every ten players made it through Mass Effect 2’s final mission with everyone alive. In a mission that functions by design to have you lose some party members—one that’s so maze-like in its possible outcomes you basically need a byzantine flowchart to properly navigate every key decision.

On one hand, yeah tough to see prices going up and making the hobby less accessible. That’s too bad.

Poor PC players, you’ll not get any sympathy out of me. Pony up or wait.

i would be SO down for that.

I’ve been thinking about this game.. and if it was revealed as a Victorian Steampunk MMO where you went to different fantasy/fable worlds through portals, that’d be a lot cooler than survival crafting. Sigh

I’d imagine he is about as sheltered and ignorant about foreigners as foreigners are about the Japanese, i.e. very.

I really wish they had at least one more season to find themselves. I can’t side with the “worst thing ever” crowd, as I had fun watching this myself and thought Jet was done incredibly well. I liked the banter between the crew and some of there narrative changes. There was a alot that I took issue with, primarily

Couple of observations I’d like to make:

The gamers who played on opening day thought they were getting a revolutionary, next-gen RPG. Those who bought the game for $30 have had months to read articles about how disappointing the game was. I think the expectations could not be further apart, and certainly influence the score.

Right? If they’d just said “It’s deus ex with driving and the hacking from Watch_Dogs” and only released it for PC and current gen consoles, nobody would have been disappointed. Definitely a launch hamstrung by committee.

Are they though?

I know it’s a tired refrain by now, but I do wish this was on consoles. I’ve been playing it on my iPad Mini with a PS4 controller and it’s a lot of fun, but the built-in controller controls can be a little iffy at times (and I’m not sure how much of it is me forgetting controls and how much is weird implementation).

I didn’t go that way at all, because unfortunately it seems like companies are more worried about protecting people like that than anything else, and seemingly always after the fact.

I kinda like the building shenanigans. This sounds alright though. Hopefully it comes to consoles, I’m not digging Halo Infinite’s MP that much (aesthetics, game modes, battle pass) and this seems more like what I would enjoy.

Well rather than open world, both Miyazaki and Kitao in various interviews describe Elden Ring as being open field and I agree.

Since I may not get the chance again soon I’d just like to say it really frustrates me how so many groups just up and quit on building their own sites and instead have turned to hosting everything on Fandom’s platform, because it really and truly sucks. Autoplaying videos are my biggest bugbear but the overwhelming

And people think im stupid for still buying physical games. This is perfect example of why

I have to wonder if the delay was caused by the game absolutely exploding in the last 4 months and that all the assumptions they used to build their game around Day 1 was blown to bits. Meaning that had they launched in 2 weeks, we’d probably be seeing some form of Tataru (Ultimate) during MSQ.

As someone who generally loves Star Ocean (and thought IaF was okay but needed work) this is... underwhelming? I think I’d like it a lot more if the main character didn’t look so flipping ridiculous.

Seriously, that hair. Yowza. Everyone else looks like standard Star Ocean characters, but the MC looks spectacularly

This seems rad as heck. My biggest problems with Pokemon-styled games are: A) They’re almost always either ugly overall, or the monsters just don’t look “cool” enough to even want to collect or B) They don’t have any features unique enough to warrant playing them over a Pokemon game. Can’t say whether this is fun or
