As far as I’m aware, due to the Game Informer information that has been coming out all last month, I believe all romance options are bisexual in this game, so no worries on that part.

Okay, after this footage, I can confidently say that this is my most anticipated game of 2017. While there’s still Persona 5 (cannot wait to play it) and a number of others (RPG and otherwise), Mass Effect Andromeda looks like it’ll take everything I enjoyed about the original ME trilogy as well as lessons from Dragon…
As a fan of the Turian species, they’re my favourite race from the original series, I’m definitely pumped about that. Hopefully she’ll be as engaging a squad mate as Garrus was in the originals.
I have a very strong feeling that, unless Nintendo was truly blasted with hate for their statements on Link’s sex earlier this year, the woman in the trailer is likely to be Zelda or another attempt at giving Link a sibling (a la Wind Waker).
The PS4 options are actually awesome this month. I’m really looking forward to finally adding Invisible Inc. to my collection as well as Stories. Both games have been reviewed quite positively, and Invisible Inc. particularly has me excited to play as it is such a brilliant idea for a game.
This sounds like a great idea and definitely seems like it will make Symmetra far more viable in a multitude of situations, rather than just being a very beneficial support for the first point on a defensive run.
This is undoubtedly the superior trailer for fans of the franchise. This one seems to get the mentality that made Mass Effect so successful in the first place - the Star Trek kind of mentality - and goes with it. Really pumped for the release of the game.
I have so much respect for this man, he’s just the sort of streamer I wish there were more of, and I hope I can be a classy gamer like him when I get older (not necessarily the same style of games, but temperament-wise).
The demo’s combat definitely turned me off, but I’m glad to know the game itself actually explains the combat much better than the demo did.
Definitely agree with you there, which is part of why I rank the Vita as the better handheld between it and the 3DS. Nintendo is wildly inventive and comes up with some great ideas, but controllers/handhelds that are meant to be comfortable to use have seemed to elude them since the Gamecube era. So the fact that the…
I’m relatively new to playing D&D, but completely agree that the simpler a campaign is by default, the more fun it can be.
I definitely agree with you there. The comfortable nature of a controller is very important news. With Nintendo’s tendency to skew away from traditional controller builds, it makes it even more important to know this information.
Great review. I was a little disappointed in the sheer amount of random encounters in the demo though. It felt extreme even by “old school” standards (I don’t remember encountering enemies anywhere near as much in FFIII for PSP or FFIX, which are the two older titles I’ve been playing most recently), but the Pokemon…
I think this stems from the fact that the game was initially coming out post FFXV, before that delay, and so Square didn’t really have a “hype” plan in mind for WoFF other than fan nostalgia, and a potential recoup on any money not made by the “bigger” title. Not to say it doesn’t deserve one though.
Wonderful review. I’m glad that you spent some time sharing your thoughts on the campaign specifically, and both what you liked and disliked/felt were missed opportunities with it.
Didn’t realize he had made all of the game. Thanks for pointing that out. Next time it’s on sale on Steam I will most definitely take the recommendation to check it out XD
He’s the one who composed the soundtrack for Undertale correct? Haven’t played that one yet, but the music I have heard has been fantastic.
Honestly, I wish more romance visual novels took a route like this, whether they were aimed at a male or a female audience doesn’t make a difference, as this sounds like a great way to build a story and develop characters without feeling contrived in the romance department.
This is an indie title? I would never have guessed. Sure the character models and animations are a little rough, but that doesn’t change the fact that there’s an absolutely impressive amount of brilliant looking game design here.
Sounds like they decided to go the Bravely Default route with the demo for this one. That’s honestly quite exciting, as I like it when a demo doesn’t spoil the game experience - like Dragon Quest Builders and its delivery of the introduction to the game - but instead gives a separate experience that gives a good taste…
