I definitely agree with the creepiness of the fanservicey elements to Flip Flappers. With how absent they are from the rest of the content that’s presented in the episodes so far, it’s awkward and uncomfortable.

This is very exciting news. From a story perspective, Ala Mhigo was the next natural expansion to the game as the story has been building towards retaking the city state since the start of A Realm Reborn.
Oh definitely. I could have swore that the Star Wars Rebels prequel novel, A New Dawn, was hinting at the huge mining requirements that the Death Star would require as well. There were a lot of people, planets, and resources needed to get this thing operational.
A very interesting interview. It’s not often that those with strong opinions on anime outside the norm are given the opportunity to share their opinions in a relatively safe environment.
The prequel novel to Rogue One - titled Rogue One: Catalyst - seems to imply, through its synopsis, that her father was involved in the development of the weapons system for the Death Star. The Geonosian origin of the Death Star’s overall design seems to still be canon, until proven completely otherwise.
That was amazing! I’ve been hyped for Rogue One for ages, since the time I thought they were making a Rogue Squadron film, and am absolutely pumped to see what Gareth Edwards brings us in December.
I’ve been doing that with Inquisition recently - done enough playthroughs of Origins and 2 to have seen a lot of the different possibilities - and it’s tough.
Avatar The Last Airbender is one of my all-time favourite series in any medium and this write up describes a lot of why I enjoyed it so much.
I’m a little bummed out by the starter set choices - mostly just Lightning - as I’m not the biggest fan of any of those three characters. That being said I am excited to take a look at how this game plays overall when it launches at the end of next month. I’m a pretty big fan of card games so this is going to be…
Why? What about what I said is navel gazing?
That’s a pretty cool discovery there. It just goes to further my belief that Blizzard was really on point with a lot of their design decisions in Overwatch (although, I don’t think of that as much with some of the patches they’ve done).
This looks really cool. I’m not totally sure about the procedurally generated areas, as I’m always more fond of in-depth and well designed static environments (like the platformers of the past), but the game looks so fluid and gorgeous that I am eagerly anticipating finding out more about this game and what it is like…
Thank you for sharing this. I wasn’t aware that this was even an issue within the Smash Community, my local group being quite a respectful group of young men and women who just enjoy getting together to play the game, so this was informative and horrifying.
This is a great mix of artwork here. While some of these articles seem to only share art of a similar style between pieces, and is perfectly awesome to see, I love how this one shows how many different styles Ms. Stabell can operate with.
Manga is a real passion of mine, even more than anime ever could hope to reach, and this is one of those series that I would recommend in a heartbeat to anyone and everyone.
As this is one of my all-time favourite manga, I’m exceedingly excited about this film. It’s heartbreaking and uplifting and hopeful all in one concise and beautifully drawn and written package. Thus making this my most anticipated film of the fall.
Out of the many game properties that have been optioned for films, Monster Hunter is up there as one of those that has the potential to really hit it off as a film.
I can completely understand a desire/need to delay a game to ensure that it is the highest possible quality it can be. I just wish that this news would stop arriving with less than two months until the game’s initial release date. It really sucks that this is becoming the industry norm for when to announce a delay...
To be totally fair though, this track - while utterly awesome and fitting IM1 so well - could also be accused of temp tracking due to the fact that it sounds like it could have originated in one of Steve Jablonsky’s Transformers scores.
Sadly, even though it was an optional line, it was his line from the first trailer that gave him a voice - if I’m remembering correctly - and stuck way to well for a one-off line.
