*wipes away tears with hankie* I feel like a proud mama.

I’m not that worried, tbh. I’m also not from the US, but everything he does has international ramifications. They know *exactly* what he’s like, and they probably all think he’s a complete idiot. I suspect they all expect him to say stupid shit, and will humour him the same way you’d humour someone elses toddler when…
Yet, despite the fact Republicans are much more willing to send troops off to fight and die in pointless conflicts, and are also more willing to gut resources like and other veteran resources for those who need it, most military members believe Republicans are the ones who “support the troops”.
Silly britt93! Govenrment jobs aren’t jobs for “real Americans”! They’re just the goverment finding a way to wate money, not hire people to do essential tasks! And who cares if they’re the most likely jobs to have benefits and healthcare? Not real Americans!
I’ve read somewhere that his peeps are ensuring that he will have his steaks and sides of ketchup at his meals. And that they had they had to make sure he has plenty of downtime. And the countries where his is visiting were warned that he likes short speeches with lots of pictures and graphs.
But what if he insults all three equally at once, thereby giving them a common enemy? Christians, Jews, and Muslims of all kinds forgive their centuries of grievances against each other as they unite against the Unholy Tangerine that Satan has unleashed upon the earth.
There is a 0% chance that 45 doesn’t say something totally insane, even for him, on this trip. It is going to be long, boring, and he won’t be able to go golfing. He is going to be grouchy as a baby on a roadtrip with a dirty diaper.
Would you go to a doctor who doesn’t understand how the human body works? (I know some people would but that’s another rant) Would you go to a mechanic that doesn’t understand how a car works?
Because it’s easier (read: less painful) for them to imagine that a highly educated & successful biracial President was born in Kenya, or that a former Senator & Secretary of State was running a child-trafficking ring out of a pizza parlor.... than it is to believe that a clueless & crooked real-estate scion, who’s…
I live in DC, and like most people here I have a whole lotta feelings about this administration (none of them good). I had dinner with some of my Mom’s friends as they swung through town the other night (they’re in their 80's) and their cousins (probably 55ish) when the question was asked, “So, are people here going…
Do you work in Trump’s cabinet?
Don’t you for one second pretend you don’t know who I’m talking about. If this lawsuit was truly being put forth by the victims it would have been done immediately after the fallout, not a couple years later. Those victims you’re so concerned about have no say in their lives, they’re living in a fucking cult. This…
To lots of dudes everywhere, Tim Allen is being blackballed for being conservative. He had a, at best, middling TV show for six (!!!) seasons that kept getting renewed despite its poor showing *and* got paid well for it. If that counts as being blackballed, sign me the hell up.
Those are two entirely different scenarios though. Conservatives claim that they have feminism, gay/transgender rights, racial issues “shoved down their throats” simply because these issues dare to exist. They think they’re being persecuted because they’re being told that their opinions and views of the world are no…
Okay to be fair... Drug Dealing in 1978, for which one was convicted and served time, as well as appears to be rehabilitated, isn’t that big of a deal...
Just so we’re all clear:
As Norman Lear has probably said a million times in the last 45 years (he’s still with us in his 90s), you can’t go about creating something while worried that the stupidest among us will misconstrue it.
This terrible show is a big moneymaker in syndication, so expect it to live on for a long time.
Tim Allen truly is a paragon of conservative values, namely a white guy arrested and charged with a felony who emerged relatively unscathed to judge others harshly.
Oh thank God. Every time I flipped past this show and let it sit for even a few minutes I wondered how this throwback lowest common denominator 80's plot-point shitpile was still on television. It sucked when it was called Home Improvement, too.
